Recent Expansion at our Yewat Work

Land: Additional 50000 sq mts of land.

Shed: Size 25 mtrs working span x 130 mtrs length.
Height of apex point — 20.5 mtrs having EOT cranes of 2 x 100 Tons, 1 x 25 Tons, 2 x 5 Tons and wall-mounted travelling.
Jib cranes 2 x 2T. 

Annexe: Width 9 mtrs (4+2), length 130 mtrs divided into following sections: 
Impulse Test Lab. 
Routine Test Lab. 
Stores. 
Works offices. 

Total additional covered area of 5000 sq mt is newly constructed additional to the existing equivalent.

HANDLING

• 75 Ton Electric Crane.
• 40 Ton Electric Crane.
• Mobile Pick and Carry type 8 Ton & 12 Ton Cranes.
• Broad gauge rail line through out length of shed (105 meters) with crossing at every 5 meter along the span of shed.
• Trolleys having bi-directional wheels . Large transformers are mounted on these and shifted along the rails.
• 5 Ton EOT Crane
• 100 Ton EOT Crane ordered out
• Vapour Phase Drying Oven Ordered out

SHED 

• First class shed of 50,000 sq. ft.
• First class shed of 75,000 sq ft shed under construction

LAND

• Plot of 6 ½ acres N. A. land on Pune Hyderabad Highway (NH –9) having
• 500 ft frontage .
• Plot of 8 acres opposite to existing facility has been procured
• Plot of 6 acres land adjacent to existing facility to be procured

DRYOUT

Vacuum drying oven –

Infrared loose heaters 150 KW

MAJOR TESTING EQUIPMENTS

• AC HV Test set 40 KV 250 KVA .
• Auxiliary transformers 22/.433KV, 33/.433KV, 11/.433 KV
• Metering CTs & PTs of 11KV , 22 KV and 33 KV Class
• 90 KVA motor generator (100 cycles) set with capacitors for conducting induced high voltage test.
• 3000 KVAR, 415 Volts Capacitors Banks.
• Other general equipments like ratio meter, voltmeters, ammeters, tong testers, wattmeters, bridges, CTs & PTs in quantity.
• 400KV AC High Voltage Test Set.

WINDING

• Twelve numbers of Horizontal winding machines of various capacities.

TRANSFORMER OIL PROCESSING EQUIPMENTS

• High Vacuum Filter Machines : As detailed in Annexure – II.
• Oil Tanks : 4 KL (4 Nos.), 6 KL, 10 KL (3 Nos), 20 KL (3 Nos.)

FABRICATION

• Full fledged fabrication shop for in house fabrication of transformer

Vacuum Pumping Unit :-

Skid mounted system ( with lifting lugs) consisting of Mechanical Booster pump with By-pass line provided with by pass valve. Chilled trap with drain valve , catch pot with level indicator , Air admittance valve and drain valve, oil sealed rotary vacuum pump with Non return Valve and E.O. Air admittance valve . Electrical control panel is provided for controlling all electrical supply to the equipments in Vacuum control unit with two gauge heads and one set point is provided to start Mechanical Booster Pump automatically.
