Role Overview:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for driving core HR functions, including talent management, retention, OD interventions, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and audits. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience from the automotive industry and will play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage talent management, employee retention, and engagement strategies

  • Drive organizational development (OD) initiatives to support performance and productivity improvements

  • Execute and monitor HR policies and processes to ensure consistency and compliance

  • Support payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and related HR operations

  • Oversee administration, statutory compliances, and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed

  • Support and coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely submission of compliance-related documentation

  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems for effective data management and reporting

  • Analyze HR metrics to provide insights for decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Coordinate and implement employee communication, welfare activities, and grievance resolution

  • Work collaboratively with plant and functional teams to align HR practices with business needs

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint for internal stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

  • MBA in Human Resources or a related field

  • 8-10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably from the automotive industry

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliances, and audit processes

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end HR operations, policy implementation, and employee lifecycle

  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong analytical abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
