Vacancy: Mechanical Design Engineer/ Draughtsman
Location: Yawat, Pune (MH)

Qualification: BE/ B Tech Mechanical Engineering
Joining: Immediate or within short notice preferred
We are a growing organization in the transformer manufacturing industry, committed to delivering high-quality power solutions. The HO is in Swargate (Pune) but our plant in Yawat (Pune) is equipped with advanced design and fabrication capabilities. We are seeking dedicated GETs (Mechanical Design Engineer) to join our team and support product development through precise and efficient mechanical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the mechanical design of transformer components, including tank, Frame Part,
radiator, conservator, and mounting bracket.
Prepare 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Perform stress analysis and mechanical simulations to ensure structural integrity and
compliance with standards.
Support the design and optimization of transformer tanks for manufacturability, strength,
and cost-efficiency.
Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
Maintain proper documentation for all design iterations and revisions.
Prepare & maintain the document as per ISO TUV9001.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and practices.
Key Competencies:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
FEM experience is added advantage
Basic knowledge of transformer & its Accessories along with types; constructions.
Understanding of stress analysis and simulation tools (preferably integrated with
SolidWorks).
Good understanding of transformer tank design and related structural components.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
