EHV Power Transformers

Up to 400 kV, 500 MVA

Distribution Transformers

Furnace Transformers

Mahati makes ESR, EAF, SAF, MF Induction, LRF, 12/24 pulse and multiple secondary & speciality furnace transformers, ensuring consistent performance in varying conditions.

      High-efficiency transformers for electric arc furnaces (EAF) and ladle refining furnaces (LRF).

Dry-Type Transformers

Up to 15 MVA, 66 kV

Mahati’s dry-type transformers, Cast Resin and Vacuum Impregnated, offer fire-safe, maintenance-free power solutions for high-risk environments and indoor installations.

    • Cast Resin Transformers: Up to 15 MVA, 66 kV, designed for commercial infrastructure, airports, metro rail, and high-humidity environments.

    • Vacuum Impregnated Dry Type Transformers: Up to 10 MVA, 132 kV, ideal for renewable energy projects, oil & gas, and industrial automation.

    With superior mechanical strength, low partial discharge, and enhanced environmental resilience, Mahati’s dry type transformers meet stringent international safety regulations.

Reactors: Series and Shunt

Up to 220 kV

Mahati’s series and shunt reactors play a crucial role in grid stability, power factor correction, and harmonic filtering across high-voltage transmission networks.

    • Shunt Reactors :Absorb reactive power, optimising transmission efficiency and preventing overvoltage conditions.

Special Purpose Transformers

These include locomotive transformers, multiple-secondary IDT, high-voltage testing kits for large generators (1000 MV), flux testing equipment, and stator dry-out power supplies.

    • Autotransformers: Cost-effective voltage regulation solutions for step-up/down applications in industrial networks.

    • Inverter Duty Transformers: Designed to support 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 windings, ensuring seamless integration with renewable energy projects, industrial drives, and advanced power conditioning systems.

Specialised Testing Equipment

AC High Voltage Testing

On-site testing of transformers, cables, generators, EHV bushings, and high-voltage bus ducts to determine insulation health.

Impulse Test Equipment

Simulating lightning and switching voltage impulses as per relevant standards. Portable impulse-testing equipment for on-site testing [coming soon].

Flux Testing

Testing of large stators for magnetic circuit integrity by way of inducing magnetic flux for assessing the magnetic circuit health for large hydro-generators.

Water Load Banks

200-6000 kW, up to 11 kV. Our industrial-grade water load banks provide precise, controlled load testing for power generation and distribution systems.

Partial Discharge Testing

Testing of partial discharge in transformers, cables, generators, motors and high-voltage equipment.

Mobile Substations

Mahati Industries offers fully integrated Mobile Substations, providing high-voltage power solutions for utilities, industrial sites, emergency grid restoration, and remote power applications. Designed for rapid deployment and plug-and-play functionality, Mahati’s export-ready mobile substations ensure seamless power availability in critical situations, infrastructure expansions, and energy transition projects worldwide.
