- Erection of large machines requires skilled manpower, special T & P and test equipments. The company is specialized in this field and is regularly carrying out erection of hydro machines for M/s Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. all regions, Voith Siemens, V. A. Tech, Alstom, M/s Jaiprakash Associates, Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. & Government of Maharashtra etc.
- We have assembled,
- The biggest capacity stators & rotors in India (4×300 MW) at Koyna Stage-IV generating stations in Maharashtra.
- Erected the biggest spiral casings in India with inlet diameter 8 mtr., 5 Nos. at Almatti H.E.P., Karnataka state & 8 Nos. at Omkareshwar H.E.P. in Madhya Pradesh.
- Erected highest head turbines in India with 850 mtr. head at Lekimro H.E.P. site in Nagaland.
- Erected the highest capacity turbine and generators sets in India at 4×250 MW Tehri Hydro Electric Project.
- Assembled & erected the heaviest rotor assembly in India (650 Tonnes) at 4×250 MW Tehri H.E.P. site.
- Erected the highest capacity reversible turbine & genset in India with 150 MW capacity at Bhira Pumped Storage unit in Maharashtra
- We are in the field of EPC contracts of electrical switchyard / sub-stations for co-generation plants and carried out the works for various sugar factories.
- Recently entered into EPC contracts for small hydro projects and executing total 6 projects totaling 26 MW.
- Involves design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and operation, maintenance for 1-2 years of all electromechanical equipments from penstock to switchyard.
- As a part of hydro / thermal erection business we also provide operation & maintenance services to our clients during starting period of operation after synchronizing of the machines.
- Renovation and upgradation of hydro machines.
- Renovation of old hydro turbines by totally dismantling of unit, repair, modification or replacing of old turbine parts, sand blasting & painting of water conduit system, welding of runner and guide apparatus parts replacing.
- Up-gradation of old generators by dismantling the machine and rewinding with special ‘F’ class insulation and necessary modifications.
- White mettaling, re-machining and setting of bearings by scrapping etc.
- Special type of electrical machines like H.T. motors, synchronous condensers of large capacities.
- After successful implementation of EPC contracts now the company has started executing the projects on B.O.O.T. basis. Especially in small hydro projects.
- About 10 MW projects are in hand and in the advance stage of completion.
- Presently two projects have been allotted to us in Maharashtra and both are in the advance stage of completion.
- Water to wire implementation of the project including land acquisition, getting clearances from different authorities, selection of land, power purchase agreement etc is also done by us.
